Let me introduce ourselves, we are a family of six: Gerardo and Rosana; Rocio, Macarena, Emiliano and Pilar, our daughters and son. In 1988, we have been very lucky to arrive to El Chanten and being one of the first people living in this beautiful place. Soon after we gave our first steps into the touristy activity, starting with horse riding and porting to the expeditions that were trying to climb the magnificent mountains around. With time we open El Relincho campsite and year after year, we are continuously improving to provide more comfort to those who are visiting us.
Now we are almost ready to open three new cabins furnished with warmth and comfort to make the stay in our complex truly unforgettable.
We offer daily excursions guided by experienced “vaqueanos” trackers.
Although they possess different levels of difficulty depending on the choosen destination, all of them are possible to do even for people without experience.
We have tame and trained animals for this activity. Most of them of our own breed, ductile and trusty.
We guarantee great enjoyment in this experience where nature relates to the adventurous and the visitor free spirit.
On rainy days, El Relincho offers for your best comfort, capes to protect yourself against water specially designed for riding.
We have comfortable saddles such as Cangalla o Casco Varela.

Special Program: Glaciar Viedma Horse Ride
Two days of horseback riding and a night camping in the area of Glacier Viedma for groups of up to 6 people (minimum of 2 persons).

El Chaltén and its surrounding area is a touristic destination that offers the best conditions to fully enjoy and meet oneself with its environment. It is an ideal place to go horse riding and in summer it becomes a unique place for turistic adventure lovers. It has been sixteen years since El RELINCHO has focused on horse riding services and transport on horses.
Loads
We transport loads from El Chaltén to different campsites dwelled by APN. Each horse can load between 50 and 60 Kg. (110 to 130 lb) depending on its volume so to optimize the animal movement along broken and forested grounds.
Our campsite offers a wide green area to camp inside the town, but feeling totally inmerse in nature.
We have a sector amongst native trees where you are able to place your tent, individual sheltered areas and a natural wall of cherry trees, where you will find BBQ, shelter for motor-homes and tents.

Suggestions
Our town is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Patagonia. The weather can be cold even in summer and because of its characteristic strong winds and rain , we strongly recommend when it comes to prepare camping equipment to remember that tents, sleeping bags and personal equipment should be adecuated.

El Relincho offers you the comfort of its cabins. During 2006 we opened our first cabin and on the season 2006-2007 we are opening two more. We feel confident your stay will be enjoyable because we have thought of all details offering warmth and comfort. The Cabins are distributed inside a wide area and you can use the campsite facilities, playground, BBQ, recreation room and breakfast area. Totally equipped to fit Four to six Birth, with two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.
Rooms: They have large and comfortable somiers – SIMMONS brand- that allow you to fit them into a double bed if needed. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Kitchen: The kitchen has four fires with an oven, table and chairs, fridge and crockery. In the six Birth Cabins we incorporated a comfortable sofabed.
Bathroom: large with bathtub, sink, sink and toilet.
Daily maid service: bathroom, rooms and kitchen (crockery washed is not included).
