The Camp

Spaces

Each dome is strategically spaced 15 to 20 meters apart, ensuring you can enjoy the views and experience as if you were alone in the forest. All domes connect to the main dome via wooden walkways, ensuring a harmonious connection with nature without sacrificing the peace you seek.

Sleeping domes

The camp has eight domes with panoramic views of Fitz Roy in the Premium category. Four domes with views of the Forest in the Deluxe category are built on elevated structures within the native forest. A dome is a more resistant tent than a regular tent, built on a geodesic iron structure, covered with canvas, and insulated with a special material. Each unit measures 27 m² and houses the bedroom and private bathroom. It is equipped with a salamander, 220-volt electricity, a double or single bed, and warm blankets, all decorated with cozy decor. The salamanders are handled exclusively by the staff, who light them at dusk.

Main dome

This 80-square-meter structure houses a comfortable living room, as well as the dining room where breakfast and dinner are served. With its large windows, it's the ideal place to relax and unwind, enjoying conversations, reading a book, or simply sipping a drink by the fireplace with beautiful views of the mountains and the famous Fitz Roy.

The Domes are not suitable for people with mobility issues as they are raised above the ground.

Experiences around the camp

These spaces were designed to take full advantage of the camp's privileged location and offer an excellent alternative for leisure time.

A place where time slows down, ideal for relaxing in silence, letting the sound of the river and the wind through the trees accompany you, and feeling part of the nature that surrounds us.

The Hammocks
We offer charming hammock spots where you can enjoy a refreshing beer, immerse yourself in a good book, or simply enjoy the breathtaking view of Mount Fitz Roy.

Riverside Table
The perfect place to take a dip in the shallow waters of the river or pack a picnic basket and spend a relaxing afternoon.

CValley Hike
Grab portable hammocks and embark on an easy yet breathtaking hike through the native forest. Discover a serene place to relax in the valley of the "Río de las Vueltas".

Chaltén Camp restaurant

This season, Chaltén Camp takes a step in its gastronomic identity by enhancing it with the incorporation of the advisory services of chef Martín Lukesch. The clay oven is the heart of our kitchen: there, breads, meats, and vegetables are prepared that fill the air with smoky and homey aromas, transforming every meal into a sensory experience.
